| Abstract: | Succinyl bis-N-phenylhydroxamic acid (L) produces new organotin complexes of the types [Ph2SnL], [(Cyclohexyl)3Sn]2L and [Me2ClSn]2L which have been characterised on the basis of elemental analyses, IR and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectral data. The spectral and analytical data indicate that in [Ph2SnL], the ligand is tetradentate, whereas in [(Cyclohexyl)3Sn]2L and [Me2ClSn]2L, the ligand is bidentate in nature. |
