information centers in decision making by the administrators and managers.
Reports a survey which was conducted to study the use of libraries and
information centers by the administrators and decision makers of the IMO state
in Nigeria.
Suggestions are also made to establish the libraries in various government
departments make an assessment of the requirements of the decision makers and
acquire relevant information sources in the library.</span>

International (CABI) abstracting periodicals that are subscribed by the library
of Mahatma Phule Agricultural University (MPAU), Rahuri (Maharashtra State).

font-family:" times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";="" mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="" lang="EN-US">is <span style="mso-bidi-font-style:italic">conducted with the help of a written
questionnaire supplemented by personal interviews wherever possible. 140
teaching, research and extension staff members and 75 <span style="mso-bidi-font-style:italic">M.Sc. and Ph.D. students selected randomly
were the respondents to the study.</span></span></span></span>

tool/union catalogue is <span style="mso-bidi-font-style:italic">available
to provide access to them at regional/national level. INSDOC took up a project
of creating a database of S & <span style="mso-bidi-font-style:italic">T
conference proceedings and publishing a union catalogue of the same. INSDOC
Regional Centre, Bangalore was entrusted with
the job of covering the S & <span style="mso-bidi-font-style:italic">T
libraries in Bangalore.
This paper describes their experiences of developing the database on
Micro-CDS/ISIS and publishing the first volume of the union catalogue using DTP
system.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
