Conductance of ballistic superlattice in transverse magnetic field

Title: Conductance of ballistic superlattice in transverse magnetic field
Authors: Ghosh, P K; Mitra, B
Abstract: <span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:
115%;font-family:" times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";="" color:black;mso-ansi-language:en-in;mso-fareast-language:en-in;mso-bidi-language:="" hi"="" lang="EN-IN">The electronic transport of the ballistic superlattice in the presence of a
transverse magnetic field within the constriction has been studied, where the
wells have equal length across the constriction and the barriers are arranged
in a manner either periodic or quasi-periodic· The conductance exhibits strong
transmission resonances which drastically affected the quantized conductance, plateaus of the ideal unmodulated constriction.
The magnetic field produces an overall rightward shift of the conductance. When
the field increases, the peaks in the group of resonances are depressed progressively
in the region of a given plateau and finally disappear in a stronger magnetic field.

Title: Effect of charge fluctuation on current pulses and instability in a plasma produced in admixture of gases subjected to dc corona discharge
Authors: Pimpale, Sushama S
Abstract: The effect
of time of exposure to electrodeless
discharge on emission of counts for a temperature of 50°C in a fresh vessel
under de excitation has been studied by exposing air at a pressure of 10 torr
to a potential of 1.5 kV and to a bias of 5

<span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";color:black;mso-ansi-language:en-in;="" mso-fareast-language:en-in;mso-bidi-language:hi"="" lang="EN-IN">V. The change of current
pulses which is composed of the basic charging equation and fluctuations in the
plasma has been discussed on the basis of charge equality and inequality in the
plasma bounded by two concentric glass tubes.

with the aid of locally designed simple new growth technique. This technique is
based on Bridgman growth method. Electrical conductivity, Hall effect and Hall
mobility were investigated as a function of temperature in the range 225-500K,
on p-type single
crystals.Measurements were crried out perpendicular to the c-axix.
Variation of the charge carriers against temperatures was discussed. The energy
gap width as well as the ionozation energy was computed. At room temperature
the Hall mobility was found to be μ=500cm2/V.
