    <title>Calibration and Dissemination of Industrial Volt through newly Established bank of Zener Reference Standard</title>
    <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/27021</link>
    <description>Title: Calibration and Dissemination of Industrial Volt through newly Established bank of Zener Reference Standard
Authors: Sharma, Sudhir Krumar; Ojha, V N
Abstract: The conventional ‘National Standard’ of DC&#xD;
voltage is maintained as a bank of saturated standard cells. Presently it is&#xD;
maintained by newly established automated bank of Zener reference standard. In&#xD;
the present paper we discuss its establishment, properties and traceability.&#xD;
Furthermore, we discuss about dissemination of unit of volt through traceable calibration&#xD;
of Zener reference standard (secondary standard/working standard) their sources&#xD;
of uncertainty in measurements, uncertainty budget and their evaluation based&#xD;
on the ISO 17025 guidelines (Type A and Type B evaluation).

    <title>Impact of improved technology for increasing productivity of Soya bean</title>
    <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/27020</link>
    <description>Title: Impact of improved technology for increasing productivity of Soya bean
Authors: Shukla, A K
Abstract: An experiment has been conducted to&#xD;
demonstrate the benefit of using all the available improved technologies and&#xD;
yield reduction due to non-adoption of each of the technology for education the&#xD;
farmers. The maximum yield loss (49 per cent) was observed when the field is&#xD;
unleveled and not well prepared. This was followed by non-following of weed&#xD;
control (29 per cent). By omitting other recommended such as non-following of plant&#xD;
protection. Non-application of fertilizer, no seed treatment and deep sowing, the&#xD;
yield losses varied between 12-19 per cent. The experiment clearly elucidated that&#xD;
adoption of all available improved&#xD;
&#xD;
technologies is essential to boost production&#xD;
and productivity of soybean.

    <title>Use of Remote Sensing and GIS for Land use /Long Term Use of Vegetation in Ecological Areas</title>
    <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/27019</link>
    <description>Title: Use of Remote Sensing and GIS for Land use /Long Term Use of Vegetation in Ecological Areas
Authors: Naithani, Suneet
Abstract: Remote sensing and Geographical&#xD;
Information System (GIS) are the appropriate systems to gather data and later on&#xD;
its management. The fast development of these systems has rendered simplification&#xD;
to the management and analysis in this sphere. In GIS (special and non-special)&#xD;
an important and useful data-base is prepared by means of appropriate&#xD;
arrangements of data. As a result of this database understanding the maps&#xD;
becomes simpler. In this paper the uses of the above techniques have been described&#xD;
with special reference to land management, data management and environmental awareness.

    <description>Title: A Comparative Study of Tensions and Work Satisfaction of the Security Forces Under Emergency and Peaceful Atmosphere
Authors: Tripathi, Rajesh Kumar; Asnani, Vimla
Abstract: Terrorism over the last one decade has affected&#xD;
the nation to a great deal. The problem of terrorism has been especially prevailing&#xD;
at the maximum in the northeast states and Jammu &amp; Kashmir. The government has&#xD;
declared such states as terrorism affected states. The security forces have&#xD;
been responsible to bring peace to these areas. The security forces face tremendous&#xD;
amount of difficulties in fulfilling their task. The details have been&#xD;
discussed in this paper pertaining to tensions and work satisfaction under emergency&#xD;
and peaceful atmosphere.
