Variables such as, cataloguing procedure, typing output, reasons for backlogging, use of machine for controlling backlog, cataloguing tools, and filing & frequency are the key determinants. The respondents <span style="mso-bidi-font-style:italic">have no objection to the introduction of pre-natal cataloguing and printed cards service in addition to application of computers for cataloging.
