masking and demasking technique is proposed for the determination of thallium (III)
using 3-mercapto-1, 2-propaned as releasing agent. Reproducible and accurate
results obtained in the range 4-7 5 mg of thallium with relative error of ± 0.3%
and coefficient of variation not more than 0.46%.</span>

studies have been carried out on nickel electrodeposits obtained from still and
ultrasonically agitated Watts electrolytic bath. The samsples have been tested
in 3.5% sodium chloride solution. The beginning of corrosion process is well
defined by the appearance of semicircle. The variation of current density (cd)
during plating Influences the performance of the coating Ultrasonic agitation
has improved the corrosion resistance properties of nickel deposits.</span>

parameters such as adiabatic compressibility, free length free volume and their

strength of interaction between the components of the mixture.</span>

Authors: Loomba, Komal; Pandey, G S
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;
font-family:" calibri","sans-serif";mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;mso-hansi-theme-font:="" minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:arial;mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:="" en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">The blast furnace granulated slag when treated
with a solution of silver nitrate indicates a shiny deposition of metallic
silver showing its capacity to cause electrochemical reduction. The major and
minor components of the slag have been determined. The capacity of the slag to
cause chemical reduction has been attributed to the presence of certain
reactive metals in their elemental states. Alkyllead , in gasoline or aqueous system,
when treated with the blast furnace granulated slag is found to be substantially
or completely removed depending on the conditions of the treatment. The method
has been found simple, economical and useful for the treatment of alkyllead-contaminated
aqueous system.</span>
