Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;

characteristics and dependence of curve parameters on tex of rabbit hairs
obtained from six genetic groups, viz. German, British, Russian, German ×
British, German × Russian and German × British × Russian angora rabbit, are
reported. The results do not differ much for the variance analysis of
unadjusted means except in the case of post yield slope (PY), breaking
load (BL) and stress at 30% extension (F30). The
adjusted means of PY with respect to tex do not differ significantly
whereas the differences between groups are observed in the case of BL
and F30 Based on the homogeneity tests, common regression
coefficients of curve parameters on tex are obtained in the case of PY, BL,
tenacity at break and extension at break.

Authors: Rangnekar, D W; Rajadhyaksha, D D
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;

obtained by the treatment of N,N-dimethylformamide and phosphorus oxychloride
on anthrone, was reacted with piperidine and morpholine to get 10-piperidino-
and 10-morpholino-anthracene-9-aldehydesrespectively. Condensation of these
compounds with 2-methylbenzoxazole, 2-methylbeozimidazole and
2-cyanomethylbeozimidazole yielded the corresponding 10-piperidino- and
10-morpholino-9-(β-hetarlethylene)anthracenes. These brilliant yellow
fluorescent compounds were applied on polyester as disperse dyes which resulted
bright yellow shades with green fluorescence with moderate to good light
fastness and good sublimation fastness.
