    <description>Title: Theoretical Study of Topological Indices for Maximum Half-Effective Dose (ED50) of Cephalosporin Derivatives
Authors: Kumar Sharma, Rajendra; Sharma, Pratibha
Abstract: Present study deals the development of a regression equation for the prediction of pharmacokinetic property viz- Half Maximal Effective Dose (ED50) by various steps of stepwise regression analysis. ED50 is important parameter for expressing effectiveness of a drug. 31 compounds of cephalosporin were selected for the study. 3D structures of these compounds were prepared with the help of Chem Sketch and saved as a mol file. Various 2D- indices like winer, detour, randic, harary, balban, schultz etc. molecular topological indices, topological distance indices T(N-N), T(N-S), T(N-O) and 3D-indices like 3D Morse indices, Sum of Keir-Hall electro topological state (Ss) were calculated with the help of Dragon software. The molecular refractivity mol calculated by Chem Sketch- Then a stepwise regression analysis between ED50 and selected indices was carried out by Microsoft excel software. Thus, a multilinear regression equation was developed. There occurs very strong correlation (R2 ) 0.983, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient, r2 (0.986) between predicted and observed values of ED50. With the help of derived regression model the presently available molecule can be modified to newer molecule with desired value of ED50. However, during the modification toxicity is also forced to be controlled or minimized.

    <title>Water Sensitive Urban Design for India: Review of Indian Knowledge Systems and Singapore's ABC Waters Programme</title>

    <description>Title: Water Sensitive Urban Design for India: Review of Indian Knowledge Systems and Singapore's ABC Waters Programme
Authors: Saravanan, S; Ji, Shiva
Abstract: Indian cities are increasingly confronting complex and interrelated water challenges driven by climate change, including prolonged droughts,&#xD;
high-intensity rainfall events, urban flooding, and deteriorating water quality. These issues are further compounded by the urban heat island&#xD;
effect, shifting monsoon patterns, and the accelerating pace of urbanization. Existing urban infrastructure, often based on externally imported&#xD;
planning models, remains poorly adapted to India's diverse ecological, climatic, and cultural realities. This study explores the potential of&#xD;
Water-Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) as a resilient, context-sensitive framework to address these mounting challenges. Through a case&#xD;
study-based review of Singapore's Active, Beautiful, Clean (ABC) Waters Programme, the research highlights the successful integration of&#xD;
nature-based solutions with engineered systems to achieve multi-functional, sustainable urban water management. The study also underscores&#xD;
the relevance of India's indigenous knowledge systems in stormwater management and water purification, traditions deeply embedded in&#xD;
Ayurvedic principles, biodiversity conservation, and holistic water stewardship. Drawing from both tropical international examples and local&#xD;
wisdom, the paper advocates for a multidisciplinary, culturally rooted approach to urban water resilience in India.

    <description>Title: Optimization through Approximation Algorithm
Authors: Singh Chouhan, Ashok; Mangal, Adarsh; Shekhar, Gyan
Abstract: This research paper proposes an Approximation Algorithm to solve the Cubic Objective Function Programming Problem (COFPP). The same had been introduced to solve the Linear Programming Problem (LPP) by Khobragade et al. In this paper, we used the Approximation&#xD;
algorithm to solve linearly factorized cubic objective function programming problem. This algorithm can achieve an optimal solution in fewer iterations as compared to Simplex method. Hence, the proposed algorithm can be better understood by solving a cyclic problem

    <title>Kaolinite as a Carrier Mineral of Rare Earth Elements in Coal: A Geochemical and Environmental Perspective</title>

    <description>Title: Kaolinite as a Carrier Mineral of Rare Earth Elements in Coal: A Geochemical and Environmental Perspective
Authors: Sharma, Sadanand; Atmaram Mendhe, Vinod; Hansraj Sharma, Rishabh
Abstract: Kaolinite  is an Alumino-silicate mineral that occurs in coal and its ash in fine or micro-crystalline form. Its main chemical composition is Alumino-silicate (Al2Si2O5(OH)4) or Al2O3*2SiO2*2H2O, which belongs to the Kaolinite group of minerals. The presence of Kaolinite in coal directly influences the ash composition, gas productivity, and thermal behaviour of the coal. Moreover, this mineral plays an important role in evaluating the geochemical maturity, combustion quality, and environmental impact of coal-derived dust. &#xD;
In recent years, Kaolinite has been recognized as a potential carrier of Rare Earth Elements (REEs). This article presents a scientific analysis of the geochemical relationship between Kaolinite and REEs, their concentration in coal ash, and their environmental implications.&#xD;
Kaolinite in coal generally occurs as microscopic crystals filling the cracks, cell structures, and pores within the coal matrix, rather than as large visible mineral veins. Under microscopic and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) studies, Kaolinite appears as a white or light-coloured, extremely fine-grained mineral against the dark background of coal. It is commonly found as matrix material, coating on other minerals, or as fracture linings.&#xD;
In SEM imaging, Kaolinite is identified by its fine-grained, platy or flaky structure, which fills voids and micro-fractures. This morphology indicates that Kaolinite generally forms as a secondary mineral during diagenetic alteration processes, filling pores, cleats, and cracks. In some cases, it also occurs as disseminated particles intimately mixed with the organic and inorganic constituents of coal.
