Title: Thermodynamic and thermoacoustic properties of liquid ethanol in temperature range from 380 to 460 K at pressures up to 190M Pa
Authors: Pandey, J D; Vyas, Vimla; Dwivedi, D K; Dey, Ranjan
Abstract: Thermodynamical
and thermoacoustic properties of liquid ethanol in a temperature range varying
from 380 to 460 K at various pressures up to 190 Mpa have been reported in the
present investigation. The values of internal pressure ( Pin),
Gruneisen parameter (Г) , heat of vaporisation (Hvap) and
solubility parameter (δ) have been computed. The experimental values of density
(ρ), isothermal compressibility (βT)
and coefficient of thermal expansion

(α) at the
above mentioned pressure have been taken from literature.

Abstract: Binuclear
copper(I) complex [Cu(dppm) (2,2'-bipy)]2(NO3)2

synthesized by a ligand replacement reaction. X-ray crystal structure of the
complex (1) shows that
dppm coordinates as a bridging bidentate ligand, and 2,2 -bipy as a bidentate
ligand to the Cu(I) atoms with tetrahedral structure. NO3-
behaves as a free ion in this newly prepared

binuclear
copper(I) complex. Crystals

structure belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/ n with

Title: Synthesis of β-halogenated porphyrin dimers with distinct photophysical properties
Authors: Ravikanth, M
Abstract: Diaryl
ethyne bridged zinc and free base porphyrin containing dimers with four
bromines exclusively on one of the porphyrin ring have been synthesized. The
energy transfer from an excited zinc porphyrin to free base porphyrin depends
mainly on the position of bromines in the dimers.
