and bittern after recovery of salt).

suitable for the dysprosium deposition. Uniform
yellowish-gray films of thickness upto 0.20 microns are deposited.

Title: Determination or B and Cd in MgF2 by DC arc optical emission spectrometry with on-line background correction approach
Authors: Biswas, S S; Dixit, V S; Murty, P S
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;
font-family:" calibri","sans-serif";mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;mso-hansi-theme-font:="" minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:arial;mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:="" en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">Using DC arc optical emission spectrometry, B
and Cd have been estimated in MgF2 in the concentration range, 1-20
ppm. An on-line background correction procedure has been developed to obtain
net peak intensities for B249.77 nm, Cd 228.80 nm and 241.87 nm (internal standard)
lines. The background corrected peak intensities provided linear calibration
plots. The mean relative standard deviation of the method is found to be 11.1 %
for B and 9.8% for Cd.

Title: Wear and friction studies of some substituted benzothiazolyl thiocarbamides as potential EP additives
Authors: Bhattacharya, A; Singh, A P; Singh, R; Verma, V K
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;

The
parameters determined are wear-scar diameter, friction coefficient, initial
seizure load, 2.5 s seizure delay load, weld load, mean Hertz load and flash
temperature parameter, The additive, 1-[2-(6-Chloro) benzothiazolyl] thiocarbamide
appeared to be the most effective. The topography and tribochemistry of the
wear-scar surface have been studied by SEM and AES techniques, respectively.
