Title: Performance of Rabbit Hair Blends with Cotton and Wool in Khadi System
Authors: Arora, R K; Gupta, N P; Patni, P C; Singh, U S
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;
font-family:" calibri","sans-serif";mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;mso-hansi-theme-font:="" minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;="" mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">The fibre and yarn
characteristics of rabbit hair and its blends with cotton and wool have been
investigated. The khadi system has been found quite useful for the processing
of this fibre and its blends. Amber Charkha can be successfully utilized for
spinning rabbit hair-cotton blends, whereas Ghantaria and Bhageshwari Charkhas
can be utilized for spinning rabbit hair-wool blends using normal khadi
preparatory machinery.</span>

Title: Performance of Rabbit Hair-Wool Blend Shawls
Authors: Singh, U S; Arora, R K; Patni, P C; Gupta, N P
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;
font-family:" calibri","sans-serif";mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;mso-hansi-theme-font:="" minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;="" mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">The performance of shawls
made out of all-wool and rabbit hair-wool blends has been compared. It is
observed that the shawls made out of 25/75 rabbit hair-wool blend are superior
to the all-wool shawl in respect of softness, feel, whiteness, fullness and
warmth. The blended shawls have comparatively higher strength and undergo less
abrasion loss.</span>

rotor yarn in knitted hosiery fabric production has been investigated. It has
been observed that rotor yarn spun fabric is much superior to ring yarn fabric
from technological and customer points of view.</span>

Effect of Blend Composition and Fabric Sett on Some Characteristics of Polyester-Viscose Fabrics

Title: Effect of Blend Composition and Fabric Sett on Some Characteristics of Polyester-Viscose Fabrics
Authors: Bhargava, G S; Yadav, R K
Abstract: <span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;
font-family:" calibri","sans-serif";mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;mso-hansi-theme-font:="" minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;="" mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">The effect of blend
composition and fabric sett on breaking strength, breaking extension, fabric
assistance, flexural rigidity and air permeability of polyester-viscose blend
fabrics has been studied. It is observed that reduction in the polyester
component in the blend results in a weaker, less extensible, and more flexible
and permeable fabric with lower value of fabric assistance. Increase in fabric
sett results in a strong, more extensible, less flexible and less permeable
fabric with higher value of fabric assistance.</span>
