<title>A Model for Reconfiguration and Distributed Generation Allocation Considering Reduction of Network Losses</title>

<description>Title: A Model for Reconfiguration and Distributed Generation Allocation Considering Reduction of Network Losses
Authors: Moghaddam, M J Hadidian; Kalam, A; Shi, J; Gandoman, F H
Abstract: This paper proposes a new model for reconfiguration and distributed generation allocation in distribution network conceding reduce network losses. The objective function involves minimizing losses using the new Ant Lion Optimizer (ALO) algorithm. The proposed reconfiguration on the unbalanced 33-bus IEEE base grid with and without Distributed Generation Sources (DGRs) as well as the use of capacitors have been investigated. In this study, a branching technique with an optimization method is used to determine the best network arrangement. Simulation studies are carried out under different scenarios. In each of the scenarios, the losses before and after the optimization are compared. The results indicate that, through using the proposed method the rate of the losses in the case study is reduced.

<title>Analysis of Software Tools for Environmental Management of Professional Exposure to Nanoparticles in Enterprises</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/45386</link>
<description>Title: Analysis of Software Tools for Environmental Management of Professional Exposure to Nanoparticles in Enterprises
Authors: Vila, N Araújo; Cardoso, L; Brea, J A Fraiz
Abstract: Nanoparticles are increasingly present in a greater number of sectors, from construction, medicine or pharmacy to the textile or automotive sector. Their use is increasing due to their special properties and benefits, but their negative effects on human health and the environment must not be ignored. Therefore, it is necessary to use specific environmental management software in enterprises that evaluates exposure to nanoparticles in order to implement measures that mitigate or eliminate them. This paper aims at presenting and comparing the 5 most known software tools worldwide, since it is a field still in the process of development. After conducting a content analysis of each of them, the work is concluded with a comparison of them quantifying the analysis performed.

<title>From Evaluation to Improvement: A Close-Loop CSR System for Manufacturing Industry</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/45385</link>
<description>Title: From Evaluation to Improvement: A Close-Loop CSR System for Manufacturing Industry
Authors: Yang, Chang-Lin; Huang, Kai-Ping; Chiu, Chuang-Chung; Lee, Yen-Chun
Abstract: A new concept named CSR (corporate social responsibility) is not only used for enterprise sustainable growth, but also can be taken as a core policy to manufacturing firms. This study aims to develop an evaluation model for analysing and determining the performance of CSR in MPs (manufacturing plants) as well as identifying which indicators should be improved in order for enterprises to increase their CSR performance. The CSR documents and rating indices were first collected and a proposed CSR evaluation model was then established. An empirical case was also presented to validate the feasibility of the proposed model. The analysis results may provide additional references about how best to process CSR improvement in manufacturing sectors.

<title>A Novel Approach to Predict Mobility Pattern of Mobile Nodes in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/45384</link>
<description>Title: A Novel Approach to Predict Mobility Pattern of Mobile Nodes in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks
Authors: Kour, S; Ubhi, J Singh
Abstract: The foundation of the simulation study is mobility models in Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET).A new approach to predict the mobility for city scenario which includes a realistic model of column behavior of nodes is proposed. The comparison of this model with those of other available mobility models is encouraging. We believe that it can enhance the performance of the specified routing protocol in MANET. The network topology and link failures prediction is very difficult in the case of high mobility networks. We try to predict the node mobility for better mapping in the network. A stable route can be constructed with stable links. The simulation results of the new mobility model over routing protocol are compared with existing mobility model. NS2.35 simulator is used for network simulation. Bonnmotion-3.0.1 is used to generate the mobility of nodes. The improvement has shown in QoS metrics like throughput, average end-to-end delay, and also packet delivery ratio.
