      <title>Velocity Analysis of Barrel Bore Cleaning Device with Abrasive Brush</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/67642</link>
      <description>Title: Velocity Analysis of Barrel Bore Cleaning Device with Abrasive Brush
Authors: Song, Shuyi; Zhu, Xianglong; Sun, Yonggang; Kang, Renke; Zhang, Jinhao
Abstract: After the barrel is fired, the dirt in the barrel will affect the firing performance and service life of the barrel, and it’s hard&#xD;
to be removed. It is time-consuming and labor-intensive to clean the dirt manually. However, the existing automatic&#xD;
cleaning methods have poor cleaning effect, and the use conditions and scenes are greatly limited. Based on the rifle barrel&#xD;
with an inner diameter of 105 mm, a cleaning method using a wheeled abrasive brush was proposed. To study the influence&#xD;
of two important dimensions of abrasive brush, namely brush wire diameter and brush wire width, on the running velocity of&#xD;
cleaning device, according to the structural characteristics of abrasive brush, the interaction model between abrasive brush&#xD;
and the barrel bore was established, and then the mathematical model was obtained, which explained the influence of brush&#xD;
wire diameter and brush wire width on the running velocity of cleaning device. Then the influence of the change of two&#xD;
dimensional parameters on the running velocity of the cleaning device was tested in practice. Considering the influence on&#xD;
the reciprocating stroke and velocity of the abrasive brush due to the actual structure of the double-acting cylinder, the speed&#xD;
calculated according to the test results is 1.27 times that that according to the theory, and the obtained mathematical model&#xD;
was modified using MATLAB. The maximum error between the velocities obtained by experimental test and the velocities&#xD;
calculated by using the modified mathematical model was less than 10%. Finally, the cleaning test of barrel bore was carried&#xD;
out. By observing the cleaning effect of abrasive brushes with different parameters, it was determined that the diameter and&#xD;
width of brush wire suitable for barrel bore cleaning was 1 mm and 150 mm, respectively.

Authors: A. Patel, Dipak; B. Patel, Dilip; J. Prajapati, Dipak; K. Patel, Aryan; M. Korot, Kirti; A. Bhanotar, Shailesh
Abstract: This study presents theoretical development of Reynolds type equation for the double porous layered circular squeeze&#xD;
film bearing lubricated with ferro-fluid considering Shliomis flow Model. The external magnetic field is considered variable&#xD;
and oblique due to its benefit of generating utmost field at the essential contact region of the bearing. The effects of slip and&#xD;
squeeze velocities are also taken in to account. The squeeze film circular bearings are made up of circular impermeable discs&#xD;
having porous layer applied on both upper disc and lower disc. It is assumed that inside the porous matrix, the Darcy’s Law&#xD;
is valid. The Shliomis flow model is considered as it includes the rotation effects of magnetic particles and carrier liquid. In&#xD;
addition, the porosity effect is also included due to its beneficial assets of self-lubrication. The main objective of the study is&#xD;
to develop the Reynolds Equation considering Shliomis model theoretically. By using the basic assumptions of the&#xD;
lubrication theory, the Reynolds type Equation is finally obtained which contains the pressure and it can be obtained by&#xD;
solving Reynolds Equation with suitable pressure boundary conditions.

      <title>Biopigment Production by Fusarium oxysporum Strain SS2024 PP593456 Isolated from the Forest Region of Uttarakhand, India</title>

      <description>Title: Biopigment Production by Fusarium oxysporum Strain SS2024 PP593456 Isolated from the Forest Region of Uttarakhand, India
Authors: Dhiman, Sunny; Sakshi; Kumar, Anu; Krishan, Bhanu; Singh Majumdar, Rita
Abstract: The present study focuses on the isolation and characterization of Fusarium oxysporum strain from the forest region of&#xD;
Uttarakhand, India, and explores its potential to produce pigments under submerged conditions. Fungal isolates were&#xD;
obtained from soil samples collected from diverse forest ecosystems and identified through morphological and molecular&#xD;
techniques. Natural pigment synthesis was initiated following the isolation and identification of F. oxysporum from the soil&#xD;
sample. Subsequent dilution and pure culture techniques were employed to select a specific strain producing red pigment for&#xD;
further study. Molecular identification using the ITS region confirmed the fungal strain as Fusarium oxysporum. The&#xD;
production of red coloured pigment was achieved through submerged fermentation utilizing rice broth as a growth medium.&#xD;
Subsequent pigment extraction using ethyl acetate demonstrated the potential of F. oxysporum to produce natural colorants.&#xD;
This research contributes to the exploration of fungal biodiversity in forest ecosystems and underscores the potential of&#xD;
Fusarium oxysporum as a promising source of fungal pigments for various industrial sectors.

      <title>BloodConnect: Proximity Based Blood Donation Network with Real-Time Alerts and Tracking</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/67639</link>
      <description>Title: BloodConnect: Proximity Based Blood Donation Network with Real-Time Alerts and Tracking
Authors: B M, Nandini; B S, Sharmila; Samantri, Akhil; G, Darshan; Bhat, Kaushik; C, Nagarjun
Abstract: In most of the critical medical situations, getting the required blood on time is quite difficult as communication is slow&#xD;
and the donor information is spread across multiple sources. BloodConnect addresses this problem by using GPS enabled&#xD;
location services to link blood donors and recipients instantly. With this feature, hospitals can quickly identify donors who&#xD;
are both compatible and physically close to the emergency location. The system is developed using the MERN stack,&#xD;
MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, which provides a smooth user interface and efficient handling of data.&#xD;
Deployment is carried out through Docker containers so the platform remains stable across different hardware and software&#xD;
environments. Donors receive alerts through browser push notifications, and at the donation centre, a generated QR code&#xD;
is scanned to confirm their presence and update attendance. The QR based checkin is also associated with a reward system&#xD;
to motivate more repeated blood donations. The data flow consistency and backend reliability are checked using&#xD;
Postman. Eventually, the BloodConnect model improves transparency, speed and coordination of blood donation during&#xD;
emergency situations.
