      <title>Synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial activity of pyrazole derivatives</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/66512</link>
      <description>Title: Synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial activity of pyrazole derivatives
Authors: Anusha Rechel, Polepaka; Jyothi, Sunkari
Abstract: This study synthesized pyrazole derivatives from pyrazoline and evaluated them for antibacterial activity. From benzofuran-&#xD;
5-carbaldehyde and 1-(1,2,3,4-thiatriazol-5-yl)hydrazine, compound 1 is formed under reflux. Then DMF and POCl3 is added at&#xD;
70°C for 5 h to the compound 1 to get compound 2. To a mixture of compound 2, acetophenone in ethanol and KOH is added&#xD;
and stirred under reflux for 6 h to get compound 3. From the compound 3, different pyrazole derivatives have been synthesized.&#xD;
All the desired compounds have been successfully synthesized and characterized by 1H and 13C NMR and LCMS. The&#xD;
antimicrobial activity has been tested using a serial dilution approach against several Gram-positive and Gram-negative&#xD;
bacteria. Compounds 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 show greater antimicrobial activity against several Gram-positive and Gram-negative&#xD;
bacteria.

      <title>Interaction between cationic and anionic surfactant using ultrasonic, physical and adiabatic parameters</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/66511</link>
      <description>Title: Interaction between cationic and anionic surfactant using ultrasonic, physical and adiabatic parameters
Authors: Gupta, Aditya; Saxena, Indu; Mishra, Divyanshi; Yadav, Preeti
Abstract: Surfactants are organic amphiphilic molecules having hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts in the same molecule. The&#xD;
relative densities, relative viscosities, specific conductance and ultrasonic velocity of sound of binary solutions of SDSCTAB&#xD;
in water, formed in different mole fraction ratios, have been measured at 298 K and 308 K. From these data, the&#xD;
physical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (βad), intermolecular free length (Lf), acoustic impedance (Z),&#xD;
relaxation time (τ) and molar free volume (Vf) have been evaluated using standard relations. The results are thus interpreted&#xD;
in terms of molecular interactions between cationic and anionic surfactants. Investigated value of physical properties thus&#xD;
defines that the molecular interaction is feasible and associative in nature and the determined acoustical and adiabatic&#xD;
parameters supports that nature.

      <title>New Schiff base and potent antimalarial, antioxidant, antidiabetic ternary complexes</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/66510</link>
      <description>Title: New Schiff base and potent antimalarial, antioxidant, antidiabetic ternary complexes
Authors: Ragole, Vikas; Wankhede, Dnyaneshwar; Biradar, Yogesh; Deshmukh, Pradeep; Gayakwad, Sonaji; Butle, Santosh
Abstract: Potent antimalarial, antioxidant and antidiabetic ternary complexes have been obtained by RT reaction of Fe(III), Co(II),&#xD;
Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) chlorides with new Schiff base (E)-2-((benzo[d]thiazol-2-ylimino) methyl)-4-nitrophenol (S3) and&#xD;
8-hydroxyquinoline (8-HQ) in equimolar amounts. The SB (S3) is derived by reacting 2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzaldehyde with&#xD;
2-aminobenzothiazole using catalytic glacial acetic acid in an ethanolic medium. The compounds have been structurally&#xD;
analysed using elemental analysis, IR, electronic spectra, TGA-DTA and powder XRD (PXRD) analysis, magnetic and molar&#xD;
conductance measurements. All compounds have been screened for antimicrobial, antidiabetic, antioxidant, antimalarial and&#xD;
anticancer activities, and exhibited future potential for use against these. Molecular docking studies of all the ternary complexes&#xD;
have been conducted against multiple receptors viz., glucose oxidase, endonuclease, D-alanine ligase, oxidoreductase inhibitor,&#xD;
hydrolase and squalene epoxidase. The obtained results have been assessed in terms of binding affinities.

      <title>Synthesis and physicochemical analysis of bimetalphthaltocyanine pigment based on bivalent metals</title>
      <link>http://nopr.niscpr.res.in/handle/123456789/66509</link>
      <description>Title: Synthesis and physicochemical analysis of bimetalphthaltocyanine pigment based on bivalent metals
Authors: F Dzh, Mirzaeva; Kh Kh, Turaev; I A, Umbarov; A T, Dzhalilov; J B, Fayziev; A K, Nomozov
Abstract: In this paper, the research on the synthesis of magnesium-zinc-phthalocyanine pigment has been carried out. It has been&#xD;
synthesized based on phthalic anhydride, urea, zinc acetate, and magnesium acetate. The molar ratio of the initial substances&#xD;
is taken in the ratio of 1:4:3, and it has been synthesized with a yield of 89.5% and the reaction carried out at 225°C. The&#xD;
structure of this obtained pigment has been analyzed by IR spectral analysis. Based on magnesium and zinc phthalocyanine&#xD;
structures, it is found that the formation of phthalocyanine rings gives a peak in the region of 744.52-792.74 cm–1, while the&#xD;
phenyl rings give a peak in the region of 975.98 cm–1. Its thermal stability has been measured by thermogravimetric&#xD;
analysis, SEM (scanning electron microscope), EDS, and elemental analysis. According to the results of the analysis, it is&#xD;
confirmed that magnesium-zinc phthalocyanine has been synthesized by forming phthalocyanine rings.
