Eleucine coracana G. plants were inoculated with one of the four Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (AM) fungi viz. Gigaspora albida, Glomus albidum, Glomus sinuosum and Scutellospora erythropa in combination with chemical phosphatic fertilizer (DAP and KH2PO4) and / or nitrogen fixing blue-green algae (BGA) biofertilizers. Full and one-half dose of phosphatic fertilizers were given through potassium phosphate. The root, shoot and leaves of plants were assayed for amino acids, proteins, neutral lipids and phenol contents after 35 and 65 days of transplanting. Plants inoculated with different mycorrhizal fungi in combination of different fertilizers had 10 to 15% more biochemical constituents than the non-mycorrhizal plants. Single inoculation of plants with any one AM fungus had also more contents over the plants treated with either full dose of phosphorus or DAP full dose or BGA mixture or BGA + 1/2 DAP dose 65 DAT. G. albidum and G. albida induced better enhancements as compared to G. sinuosum and S. erythropa. Among all the treatments, quantity of these constituents in different plant parts was improved 65 DAT as compared to that of 35 DAT.en_US
