| Abstract: | The properties of crystalline quantum hard-sphere systems of bosons at low and high densities have been studied. At very high density, the hard-sphere system approaches close packing (CP) structure. Ground state energy per particle of a many-boson system of particles has been calculated for close -packing densities. For a hard-sphere diameter fixed at 2.48Å, it is found that for a 4He boson system, the low and high densities, are 4.33´1022 particles/cm3 and 6.15´1022 particles/cm3, respectively. Calculations showed that particle densities have decreased with increase in hard-sphere diameters when the saturation density was fixed at 2.0´1028 particles/cm3. Energy per particle has increased with hard-sphere diameter. However, energy per particle has decreased with particle density. |
