| Abstract: | Parkinson 's disease is a degenerative neurological disease affecting about 1.5% of the world population over 50 years of age'. It primarily impacts the part of the brain that produces dopamine, a chemical substance that allows neurological impulses to be sent from one terminal end of a nerve cell to the beginning of another nerve cell terminal. In Parkinson's disease, however, enough dopamine is not produced by the brain for its needs'. |
