Abstract: The variation of static pressure, density, potential energy and kinetic energy due to air bubble entrainment in the surf zone and their physical mechanisms have been studied theoretically. An averaging technique has been used to investigate the behavior of every single bubble in the bubble cloud. The above parameters have been found to be affected significantly by the entrained air bubbles.
