Synthesis, spectral studies and structural aspects of bis (diisopropoxide dithiophosphato)ruthenium(II) complex

Abstract

<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:="" en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">The reaction of [Ru (cyclo-octadiene) Cl_{<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;mso-fareast-font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">2</span>}<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;mso-fareast-font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">] <span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:" times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;="" mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">with sodium salt of diisopropoxide dithiophosphoric acid has been carried out in 1:4 molar ratio using dichloromethane solvent as reaction medium. The product has been isolated in the solid state and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses. spectral (IR ,electronic, <span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;mso-fareast-font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">&¹H, ^{<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:" times="" new="" roman";="" mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:="" en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">31</span>}<span style="font-size:14.0pt; font-family:" times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";="" mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">P NMR) and magnetic studies. These studies indicate four coordinated planar geometry for the reported ruthenium (II) complex.</span></span></span></span></span>
