| dc.description.abstract | Batch and column experiments have been performed to qualify the different species of chromium in aqueous sample at pH 5 using ion exchangers and 51Cr radiotracer. Affinity of DOWEX-50 and DOWEX- 1 for cationic and anionic species has been considered the basis of separation. DOWEX-50 is found suitable for speciation of Cr(III), Cr(VI) and organically bound chromium. | en_US |
