15.707(2)Å, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">V</i> = 4708.8 ų, Z = 4, Dm = 1.64g cm^-3, Dx = 1.62g cm^-3, λ(CU K_{<img src='/image/spc_char/alpha.gif' border=0>}) = 1.54184Å, μ = 40.4(cm^-1), F(000) = 2367, T = 293K, R = 0.067, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">wR</i> = 0.083 and S = 3.46 for 2968 observed reflections [I >3σ(I₀)] has been prepared and characterised by X-ray

analysis. The structure consists of discrete dinuclcar, [Cu(<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">i</i>-ppBET)₂(H₂O)]₂⁴⁺ cations and four independent (CIO₄ )^-anions. Each Cu²⁺ is five-coordinate with four carboxylato O
