| Abstract: | The complexes dichloro(phthalocyanino)silicon, [SiPcCI2], and bis(p-nitrophenoxy) (phthalocyanino) silicon, [SiPc(p-NPO)2] exhibit enhanced electrical properties on iodine doping. This may be due to the arrangement or the planar phthalocyanine molecules with decreased interplanar distance along with crystallographically similar environments and the presence of non integral formal oxidation state. |
