1,3,4-trihydroxy-2-aminoheptadec-5-ene 1,
a new monounsaturated sphingosine derivative and a new sterol glycoside, (24 S) - 24 - methylcholest-5-ene-3β,
25-diol-3-O- -L-fucopyranoside 2 have been isolated from a soft coral,
Sinularia gravis Tixier-Durivault of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The structures of new compounds have been
established from their physical, chemical and spectral data. |
