| Abstract: | Some new bactericidal and fungicidal derivatives of imidazolylimidazolone, pyrazoloimidazole, benzimidazoimidazole, imidazoimidazole, imidazopyrimidine and pyrazolo-1,2,4-triazine derivatives have been prepared by the reaction of 4-arylidene-2-phenyl-5-oxazolones with varied nucleophilic reagents. Structure elucidation of the products has been deduced on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, UV and MS data. |
