| Abstract: | Chloroform extract of the dry leaves of Parthenium hysterophorus has led to the isolation of three new pseudoguaianolides. Their structures have been established as 11βH,13-dihydroparthenin , 13-methoxy- 11, 13-dihydroambrosin and 13-methoxy-11,13-dihydroparthenin on the basis of chemical and spectral evidences. |
