dc.description.abstractThe reaction of 5α-cholestan-6-spiro-1', 2',4'-triazolidine-3'thione 1, its 3β- acetoxy 2 and 3β-chloro 3 analogues with chloroacetic acid and Fused sodium acetate in anhydrous ethanol affords 5α-cholestan-5'-oxospiro-6,2'-thiazolo-[3,2-b] triazine 4,3β -acetoxy-5α-cholestan-5'-oxo-spiro-6, 2'-thiazolo-[3, 2-b]-triazine 5 and 3β-chloro-5α-cholestan-5'-oxospiro-6, 2'-thiazolo-[3,2-b] triazine 6 respectively. The structures of the products have been established on the bsasis of their elemental and spectral  analyses.en_US
