| Abstract: | In this paper the, results of study of a ceramic based thermal coating carried out in laboratory and its field application on different types of roofing sheets are described. The held study reveals that application of the thermal coating all corrugated roof with AC sheet and GI sheet reduces ceiling temperature up to 8 and 10oC, respectively. By thermal coating treatment on a RCC roof of an enclosure, ceiling temperature, and indoor air temperature are reduced up to 4 and 2.8oC, respectively, as compared to that of the room with untreated roof. Thus, drop in ambient air temperature, due to application of thermal coating on roof surface, improves Indoor thermal comfort condition. |
