| Abstract: | The present level of OE rotor spinning technology and rotor yarn quality has been discussed in the light of ITMA 91, Hannover. An actual comparison of the quality of ring-spun and rotor-spun yarns has been made. Furthermore, machine user needs from the point of view of machine automation and flexibility are discussed. Regression models created on the basis of HVI cotton quality parameters have been found suitable for prediction of the quality of rotor- and ring-spun yarns. |
