Abstract: A wool /polyester blended fabric (45/55) has been printed using two different dye mixtures. The substrate is exposed to low temperature plasma treatment prior to printing and then the prints are steamed and washed off. The changes induced in wettability, tensile strength and colour strength of treated samples are studied. The surface morphology of treated fabric is investigated using scanning electron microscopy. The experimental results indicate that the wettability and colour strength of treated fabrics are enhanced. Moreover, changes in surface morphology of treated samples are also observed.
