| Abstract: | The production techniques for the manufacture of directionally-oriented warp knits, with special emphasis on multi axial knits, are described, and some important aspects of fabric behaviour and the economics of similar woven and inlay warp knits are compared. Further, the current fields of application of directionally-oriented structures are given and reference is made to the development activities in this area. |
