Abstract: Ultrasonic velocity and viscosity-density of 4'-methoxy-3-(p-methoxycinnamoyl) flavone (L1), 3-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-4-benzoyl-5-(p-methoxyphenyl)isoxazole(L2) and  3-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-5-methylpyrazole (L3) at different molalities in 70% (v/v) acetone-water mixture have been measured at 298.5±0.1 K. The values of relative viscosity (ηrel),  apparent molal volume  (ϕv)  and  adiabatic  compressibility  [ϕk(s)] have  been deduced from  these  data. The structure making and breaking properties of the liquid  have been considered as measure of solute-solvent and solute-solute interactions.  The results of the present study  suggest  the  presence of short  range  and  weak interactions.
