| Abstract: | From the aerial parts of Abrus precatorius new triterpenoid saponins have been isolated and identified as Olean-12-ene-3β, 23, 28-trihydroxy-3-O-([β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)]-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-β-D-fucopyranoside}1 and olean-12-ene-3β, 16β, 23, 28-tetrahydroxy-3-O-([β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl( 1→3)]-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2) ]-β-D-fucopyranoside) 2. |
