dc.description.abstractThe whole plant of Phyllanthus amarus Linn. has afforded new secosterols named as amarosterol-A characterized as 13,14-seco-stigma 5(6), 14(15)-diene-3-α-ol 1, and amarosterol-B characterized as 13 ,14-seco-stigma 9(11), 14(15)-diene-3-α-ol 2. Their structures have been elucidated on the basis of spectral and chemical studies.en_US
