| Abstract: | From the petrol extract of the whole plants of Adiantum lunulatum Burm. (Adiantaceae) a new triterpene characterized as 3β-acetoxy-6α-hydroxy-hop-15, 17(21)-diene 1 has been isolated and its structure elucidated with the help of spectral as well as chemical studies. |
