Mutual interference effects on the wind pressure distribution on two low-rise prismatic bodies

Abstract

In this paper, the wind pressure distribution on the various faces of two prismatic bodies with square cross-section and height to width ratio <i>(</i><i>h/b</i><i>) </i>of 1 and 3 are investigated. The mutual interference effects when the bodies are in tandem arrangement are considered. The pressure distribution is significantly altered when the interfering body (either <i>h/b</i>= 1or 3) is in front.
