| Abstract: | The effect of methyl groups in oxazoles has been studied and the perturbations caused on the oxygen and nitrogen atoms have been rationalized. The Hucke! Molecular Orbital (HMO) method has been used to evaluate the π-electron densities of all the molecules studied. |
