| Abstract: | The structures of three oleanene type triterpenes, calotropoleanyl ester, proceroleanenol-A and proceroleanenol B,isolated from the root bark of Calotropis procera, have been elucidated as olean-13(18)-en-3β-yl acetate, olean-13(18)-en- 9α-ol and olean-5, 13(18)-dien-3α-ol, respectively, on the basis of spectral data, elemental analyses and chemical reactions. |
