Titanium based CdSe films of variable composition were prepared and subjected to thermal treatment. The formation of CdSe has been investigated using cyclic voltammetry. The swiftness of fall in current during deposition of CdSe films is expressed in terms of relaxation time under different conditions. Photoelectrochemical studies showed the alteration in the nature of semiconductivity on thermal treatment. Impedance measurements were carried out for the examination of corrosion characteristics.en_US
