Abstract: The performance of a mechanically-controlled warp yarn let-off (a Hunt type) is compared with that of the converted system employing an electronic control system. The results indicate that the electronically-controlled system performs higher in compensating the warp yarn tension disturbances, thereby increasing weaving machine efficiency and resulting in improved fabric quality.
