| Abstract: | A new method, based on single fibre length data, has been proposed to optimize the roller settings in draw frame. Yarns produced using the settings based on the new method have lower Classimat faults as compared to those produced using the conventional settings. The observed phenomenon is explained in terms of fibre arrangement in sliver. |
