We study an isomerization process in the presence of external drive using one-dimensional periodically driven noisy iterative maps. We observe the phenomenon of noise-induced enhancement of output signal known as stochastic resonance in this system. The results obtained by spectral analysis, residence time calculations and hysteresis studies are found to be remarkably similar to that obtained using continuous time models.en_US
