| Abstract: | A laboratory scale experiment was conducted on aerobic digestion of tannery effluent using cowdung as the seed material. The BOD removal of 95.8 per cent was obtained at an optimum organic load of 0.6 kg BOD/m3/d. Biokinetic coefficients were calculated for the data obtained to study the metabolic performance of the microorganisms. |
