| Abstract: | Normal coordinate calculations of 5- fluoro, 5-chloro and 5-bromo-cytosines were carried out using Wilson's F-G matrix mechanism on the basis of General Valence Force Field for both in-plane and out-of-plane vibrations. The potential energy constants obtained in this study were refined using numerical methods. |
