Abstract: | Plants take only one
third of soil-applied urea-N and rest is lost in the environment by
volatilization, rapid hydrolysis, nitrification and leaching. It not only
results in economic loss but also causes ground water pollution. Loss of soil-applied
nitrogen can be prevented to some extent
by use of nitrification regulators or inhibitors. Some ![]() |
