| Abstract: | Willium Shaukley and his associates John Wardin and Walter Bretain discovered transistor. Due to this invention works are being carried out controlling the microelectrons. In place of electrons quanta of light that is the use of photons has become possible. This new techniques are called photonics. Important role of photonic crystal, photonic band gap, photonic fiber etc. in communication and information field is discussed in this paper, which is a challenge for 21st century. |
