Useful Effect of Benzyl Adenine and Vitamin C on the yield of Irrigated and Rain fed Gram (<i>Cicer arietinum</i>)

Abstract

Gram is grown with limited resources under rain fed conditions that is why its yield is low. Under rain fed conditions growth regulators and vitamins may be useful for better growth and yield of this crop. There are indications for the better yield with the application of benzyl adenine and vitamin C. Therefore, an experiment was conducted to study the effect of benzyl adenine and vitamin C on grain yield, yield index and nitrogen index under irrigated and rain fed conditions.
