| Abstract: | An experiment has been conducted to demonstrate the benefit of using all the available improved technologies and yield reduction due to non-adoption of each of the technology for education the farmers. The maximum yield loss (49 per cent) was observed when the field is unleveled and not well prepared. This was followed by non-following of weed control (29 per cent). By omitting other recommended such as non-following of plant protection. Non-application of fertilizer, no seed treatment and deep sowing, the yield losses varied between 12-19 per cent. The experiment clearly elucidated that adoption of all available improved technologies is essential to boost production and productivity of soybean. |
