| Abstract: | A local bacteria, known as Alkalygenes ficlis was cultured in different nutrient media. The maximum production of siderophores was noticed in succinic acid medium. It was found effective against disease causing fungi A. niger and A. flavus. Siderophore medium is proved very effective in resisting the growth of fungi. Some of the results have been described in this paper. |
