| Abstract: | World literature on cowpea research covering mainly the two years, 1981-82 was analyzed to determine the yearly distribution of the literature and the extent of the inclusive retrospective literature. The nature of the literature and its form of publication are identified and discussed. Also typical journal titles contributing to cowpea research are catalogued and ranked. The implication of journal literature in cowpea research is highlighted. |
