Title: Attitudes of research scholars towards the resources and services of three University libraries in Rajasthan (India) – A study

Abstract: The study conducted with a sample of 109 research scholars of three universities of Rajasthan using questionnaire method, is an attempt to identify the impression of scholars towards the adequacy of library resources, their use of the library, and their views on Library services. The findings of the study are: that attitudes reveal scholars spent more than 5 hours per day in a library; majority of the users visit the library 1 to 4 times a week, there is significant difference in the attitude of scholars towards the use of periodicals in different universities; scholars view library resources and services as being inadequate compared to their needs; level of awareness towards: the existing facilities are low; scholars at all three universities are not adequately involved in utilizing and improving the resources and services of the libraries.
